An Optical Model Study of the Scattering of Protons from 3He

Abstract :
An optical model analysis has been performed on the elastic scattering of protons from 3He at
Ep
= 6- 12 MeV. The data include only angular distribution. A reasonably good fits could be
obtained using the surface absorption potential. Discrete ambiguities are also found in the
present work.
