The Homomorphism Theorem for JP-semilattices

Corresponding Author : S.N. Begum (snaher@yahoo.com)

Abstract :

A meet semilattice S with a partial binary operation satisfying some conditions is called a JPsemilattice. In this paper we prove the homomorphism theorem for JP-semilattices. We also give a characterization of distributive JP-semilattices.

Acceleration Techniques for Vortex Method Calculations: Part II

Corresponding Author : T. K. Sheel (tksheel@sust.edu)

Abstract :

Using special-purpose computers, MDGRAPE-3, has developed a fast vortex method. MDGRAPE-3, successor of MDGRAPE-2, has been applied to the same calculations and the improvement in speed was 1000 times faster when compared with the ordinary PC Xeon 5160(3.0GHz) and 25 times compared with MDGRAPE-2 for N=106 . In addition, performances and efficiency have been investigated carefully

An Accurate Evaluation Procedure of Triangular Domain Integrals

Corresponding Author : Razwan Ahamad (rahamad-mat@sust.edu)

Abstract :

This paper mainly concentrates to present a technique to evaluate exactly the triangular domain integrals with satisfactory degree of accuracy. Hence, the technique instead of the usual Gaussian quadrature formula for triangle will find better place in application when high accuracy is desired. Further, the technique successfully accommodates the readily available Gaussian quadrature formulae for square and therefore it guaranties the high accuracy in evaluating such integrals.

Applications of Mixed Number Algebra

Corresponding Author : Md. Shah Alam (shahalam032003@yahoo.com)

Abstract :

Mixed number is the sum of a scalar and a vector. It has satisfactory algebra. In terms of Mixed number, a type of most general Lorentz Transformation can be derived which we called the Mixed number Lorentz Transformation. In this paper we have explained some applications of Mixed number in relativistic aberration, relativistic Doppler’s Effect, Electrodynamics and Quantum Mechanics. It has been observed that the explanation of relativistic aberration and relativistic Doppler’s Effect by Mixed Number Lorentz Transformation is easier…

Mapping Bangla Unicode Text to Keyboard Layout Specific Keystrokes

Corresponding Author : Mohammad Reza Selim (selim@sust.edu)

Abstract :

Bangla Unicode texts are becoming increasingly available from different types of sources. It is necessary for many applications to map these Unicode texts to keystrokes of a particular keyboard layout. In this paper, we analyze Bangla Unicode texts and various keyboard layouts and device algorithms to convert the Unicode texts to keyboard layout specific keystrokes. We implement and test our algorithms with sufficient data and show that they are working correctly. Our work has many applications, e.g., comparing the efficiency…

Bound Orbit of Sub-micron Size Non-spherical Silicate Dust Particles in the Dust Band of the Asteroi

Corresponding Author : M. H. Ahsan (h.ahsan@sust.edu)

Abstract :

Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) discovered three dust bands in the asteroid belt. These dust bands are believed to arise from the collision activity of asteroids. Dynamics of spherical and non-spherical particles are quite different in these regions. In this study the β values (the ratio of radiation pressure force to the solar gravity) for cylindrical particles have been evaluated. The β value for cylindrical particle strongly depends on the incident angle of radiation. The dependence of β values on the…

Equitable Total Coloring of Goldbers Snarks and its Related graphs

Corresponding Author : Kh. Md. Mominul Haque (momin66@gmail.com)

Abstract :

The equitable total chromatic number of a graph G is the smallest integer k for which G has k total coloring such that the number of vertices and edges colored with each color differ by at most one. In this paper, we show that Goldberg snarks and its related graphs have equitable total 4-coloring.

Evaluation of Triangular Domain Integrals by use of Gaussian Quadrature for Square Domain Integrals

Corresponding Author : M. M. Rahman (mmr-mat@sust.edu)

Abstract :

This paper presents a technique to evaluate the integrals over the triangular surfaces using readily available Gaussian quadrature for the square domain integrals. As the technique suitably can employ higher order Gaussian quadrature and have higher degree of accuracy of the integrals is possible to achieve without resorting to inefficient quadrature for triangles

Gold(I)-Catalysed Hydration of Alkynes in Ionic Liquid Media

Corresponding Author : M. M. Rahman (rmizan@sust.edu)

Abstract :

Gold(I) catalysed hydration of alkynes with water proceeds in ionic liquid media (1-butyl-3- methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate). The catalyst/ionic liquid mixture could be recycled after separation of the product by extraction with hexane.
